Just another NOTE: This will kill you if you time it wrong. Do Not Panic hitchhikers, simply point at the ground while a friend is reviving you and it will protect you and your friend until you either Second Wind or Kill Revive. (ya I said it, that is BORING!) You will however come across many instances where you are down and your Black Hole sheild has done it's job and brought enemies under it's large blast radius. You won't be running through blowing everything away so that all the other players have nothing to shoot at. PUT THE NORFLEET DOWN!! The Tunguska I carry has a lower damage than others I have seen but with the relic this one has 9 shots. Discord and the Better Half skill make for some crazy fire rate. The inaccuracy is a plus when attempting to hit flying objects. I've tried the rest so I will stick to the best. Or your hiding behind some wooden crates that can stop launcher damage and your reloading as fast as you can and the last thing you see is Death From Above, You might have a different opinion. Slow you say? Inaccurate you say? Gaige can say It smells like Piss and Nachos before you reload you say? Try taking this in the face while you are recovering from being sucked into a vortex slagged in mid air and dropped at the feet of a beautiful killer. Now with a 6 1/2 shot magazine as oppossed to a 4 1/2 shot magazine without the relic a little slag goes a long way. Just one more NOTE please: I have never done the slingshot on purpose but it does happen quite a bit. Sounds crazy but running during the implosion seems to throw enemies farther. These dang NOTES: Try running towards an edge or cliff when sheild activates to sling shot enemies off. You will Second Wind so much that eventually they can not get to you in time. ![]() Final Major Note: If you let your party know whats going on you can run into almost any situation while they hang back and focus all fire power on you. Except for big dudes, they just pound you activating your sheild again. Once they see you they try to back up fast. For a split second they don't know where you are. Enemies get pulled backwards so if you watch closely they have to take the time to recover and turn around. (Gage giggles knowing some of those are crotch shots.) Believe it or not, after you know your sheild has activated croutch down. Since explosive damage has a small radius this is one instance where the 33+k x's 16 damage of a Ravager with 26% accuracy and 3 full shots before reload really comes in handy. If you find yourself surrounded just aim at the ground and unload. MAJOR NOTE: The Blood Soaked Sheilds skill will recharge the Black Hole for each kill allowing you seemingly endless implosions and novas (as long as there is anything left to kill that is.) The Close Enough skill with its chance to riccorche gives you an edge when more than one enemy is pulled toward you. PINBALL ANYONE!! Now add a Lobed Quesar into the mix, you get the idea. While assisting you will take damage therefore activating your own sheild pulling the enemies toward you. Since most enemies will gravitate towards attacking Deathtrap you can pick them off when he/she implodes or run in slagging to assist. When Death trap loses his/her sheild all surrounding enemies are sucked toward him where he/she will either Flurry (spin quickly for melee damage, Oh snap thats why I beefed up those seemingly usless melee skills) or Clap (which will then blow the emeny away from him/her) depending on each ones cooldown rate. ![]() ![]() Important Note: Sharing is Caring skill is key. Recovery Relic but what's the baby gonna do? Of coarse this changes all the fancy math I stated before about full potential shots. Of coarse I wish Mag size was on the Acc. Since I posted I was extremely lucky to find these. ![]() Maybe it's all in my head? Don't you fret you still get the 54% reload speed from the SFL skill. I have tried other Torgue relics but I always come back to this one. Recovery is or does, other than to deduce that it gives Torgue weapons (does this include gurnades or sheilds?) a lot more boom power. Handy in a pinch!! To be honest with you I do not know Exactly what Acct. A 2fer Herald that takes 6 ammo per shot with a mag size of 27 now has a mag size of 40. equaling 3 explosively full damage potential shots. With this relic you get a full 12 ammo mag. A shottie that takes 4 ammo yet has a magazine size of 6 or 7 equals one good full damage potential shot and a half. To defeat the purpose of the Smaller, Faster, Lighter skill seems like a wacky idea however consider this.
